Our partners

As a national NGO, HDC holds a unique position in the socio-economic fabric of South Sudan owing to its robust national and international partners’ collaborations. As an impartial and accountable humanitarian organization, HDC is honoured to partner with development institutions, United Nations Organizations, international NGOs, private corporations and host government to achieve its mission, vision and organizational goals.

Target Groups

Refugees, Internally Displaced Persons, Returnees and Host community.

South Sudan hosts some 330,000 refugees and asylum-seekers (mainly from Sudan), about 2 million internally displaced persons due to conflict, insecurity and the impact of climate change and over 500,000 South Sudanese refugees have returned to the country since the signing of the Revitalized Peace Agreement in 2018. We also serve vulnerable women, children, youth, persons with disabilities and older persons from the host community across the country.
